"El viaje más largo"

Two different eras, the same adventure. To travel to the unknown and to satisfy the natural impulse of man to expand the knowledge boundaries.

Two trips that constitute the same adventure:
The first voyage around the world of the 16th century and the next manned mission to Mars in 2033.

From this idea, the Sevillian producer La Claqueta and Dibulitoon Studio co-produce a documentary comparing two trips that constitute the same adventure: the first voyage around the world of the 16th century and the next manned mission to Mars in 2033. 500 years have passed since the first circumnavigation of the planet, and in less than 15, man will face again the longest journey to his new boundary. A group of men and women will make a trip to the unknown that will last more than three years and that will suppose a huge human and technological challenge. For many the journey to Mars will be the biggest, most epic journey imaginable. But, is this really the case?

The sequences related to the expedition of the 16th century are presented in animation format. Dibulitoon Studio creates and produces all that content.

"El viaje más largo" looks for an adult audience, with an interest in history beyond its aspect of adventure. It will be screened in commercial spaces and specialized circuits in documentary films.

The documentary will also have its own didactic proposal. The presence of specialists who comment on the documentary is expected, encouraging dialogue and participation around the current consequences of those historical events.
